At Homeward Bound Horses & Hounds, our passion is rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life, and we are dedicated to making that vision a reality. Our team of compassionate staff and volunteers works tirelessly to provide the best care for animals that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected.

Our mission is to rescue vulnerable animals, provide them with the medical care and rehabilitation they need, and find them loving forever homes. We strive to promote animal welfare through education, community outreach, and advocacy.
What We Do at
Homeward Bound Horses & Hounds...
Rescue: We respond to calls about animals in distress, working with local authorities and community members to bring them to safety. Our rescue efforts include everything from emergency rescues of injured animals to taking in those surrendered by their owners.
Rehabilitation: Many animals arrive at our facility in need of medical attention and emotional healing. Our skilled veterinary team provides necessary treatments, surgeries, and ongoing care, while our behaviorists and volunteers offer the love and support these animals need to recover.
Rehoming: Finding the perfect match between animals and adoptive families is one of our greatest joys. We carefully screen potential adopters and provide guidance to ensure successful, lasting adoptions.
Education and Outreach: We believe in the power of education to prevent animal cruelty and neglect. Our outreach programs aim to inform the public about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and the many benefits of adopting rather than purchasing pets.
